Nevin Chatbot is designed for educational mathematics questions and does not require students or teachers to create an account, enter a credit card, or provide an API key.
Do not submit sensitive information
Do not enter passwords, API keys, government IDs, medical records, financial information, private school records, or other personally identifiable information.
AI processing
Questions may be processed by the configured AI provider according to the provider's applicable terms and privacy practices. Use fictional or non-sensitive examples whenever possible.
Feedback
Helpful, not-helpful, and report-issue feedback is stored locally in the browser by default. The public frontend does not send that feedback to a database unless a future version clearly discloses that change.
Limitations
AI-generated explanations may contain mistakes. Verify important calculations and graded work with a teacher, textbook, calculator, or another trusted source.
